Dan Robinson

Dan started off as an unattached runner on the local club circuit in Gloucestershire, but it wasn’t until after joining Tipton Harriers that Dan really started to improve as a road runner.

He broke 65 minutes for the half marathon for the first time in 2000 and the following year earned a late call-up for the World Half Marathon Championships in Bristol, where he set a PB of 64:23. A month later he smashed his marathon best by 21 minutes with 2:16:51 in Frankfurt, but also showed impressive form over shorter distances.

One of his biggest achievements is earning a bronze medal at the 2006 Commonwealth Games with an excellent run.  He followed this up with an 11th place finish in the 2007 World Championships.
