In 1995 Jenny won the English schools title for the 800m, Jenny experienced wining at an international level as a junior being crowned “World Junior Champion” as part of the victorious 4x400m team in Santiago, Chile. In 2001, Jenny finished 6th at the European Under 23 Championships, and gained a gold medal on the 4x400m relay.

Since 2002 Jenny has been a regular with the Great Britain competing at the 400m, 4x400m, and for the last five years 800m. Jenny has established herself as the number one 800m runner in the country and one of the best in the World.

Since competing as a senior international 800m runner she has achieved an impressive record starting with winning the European Cup in 2008. In the same year Jenny represented Great Britain at the Beijing Olympics and won the National indoor title. Jenny followed this up with an excellent performance at the 2009 World outdoor championships in Berlin winning the Bronze medal and setting a personal best of 1.57.93.

 

2010 has started off where 2009 finished winning the National indoor title and breaking Kelly Holmes national record in a time of 1.59.11. Jenny has since lowered her own national record to 1.58.43 on her way to an excellent silver medal at the 2010 World Indoor championship narrowly missing out on winning the race by just 17 tenth of a second.
