The Action Duchenne Love Run 2012 is a charity race consisting of a timed (by chip) 10km race and a 5km (non-timed) Fun Run. To be guaranteed of a timing chip you must register beforehand. Timing will not be guaranteed for registrations on the day of the race. Runners may run in whatever attire they wish (including fancy dress), but Action Duchenne T-shirts will be provided. Action Duchenne will use the money raised from this event to increase awareness and fund research for a cure of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. This is a severe muscle wasting disease leading to loss of ambulation and eventually death normally by sufferers' early twenties.
