Asymmetric Lacing System

Asymmetric Lacing System

The Asymmetric Lacing System follows the curve on top of the foot in a natural way, to ensure a perfect fit and less friction.

Guidance Line

Guidance Line

Guidance Line places a visible groove in the mid and outsole that follows the foot's center of pressure from heel to toe. The result is a more adaptive running platform, creating a smoother transition from heel strike to toe-off with each stride. Automatic Guidance Line thus helps runners to maintain a natural, efficient gait, especially over long distances.

Hi all am new to running and been training for 3 months with Nikes building up to a half marathon. Running approximately 30 miles a week easier and easier
I am relay cheesed off because thinking that a new pair of GEL-KAYANO 16 would help me improve because it says it all over the internet.
For the first time I had to stop after about I mile because my calf’s and shins were killing me I sat at the side of the road and stretched my legs out for 10m
I tried to run back but my calf’s felt like lead so I had to work back.
Can I someone with more experience then me please advise.

    Regards, Rob

Great shoe...fantastic cushioning from the gel.
Feel like slippers compared to other stability shoes in the range.
Actually a big fan of the asymmetric lacing, though not sure how well the toe-box will last as already looking a bit twisted.
They look mean in black & gold.
Broken them in and trying them out in half-marathon at the weekend.
    Fingers and toes crossed!

Comfortable shoe, larger toe box than the Kayano 15's.
On my first long run i got blisters on the inside of my heel, both feet, having never had running related blisters before. I think the insole has quite a big gap where it joins the shoe, this is the place i got the blisters.
I will only run for 50 mins in these now, and stick to my old Kayano 15's for races and longer distances.
Quite disappointed as i now have to find something else to replace my Kayano 15's with.

I play basketball, and cross train regularly. After 9 yrs of Nike, 3 yrs of Mizuno then 2 years of Brooks runnIng shoes, I've found a shoe that leaves me feeling no soreness after a 10 mile pavemnet pounder. First shoe ever to do that, Smooth ride, excellent cushioning, particualr under the forefoot. Nuff said.
