Guidance Line

Guidance Line places a visible groove in the mid and outsole that follows the foot's center of pressure from heel to toe. The result is a more adaptive running platform, creating a smoother transition from heel strike to toe-off with each stride. Automatic Guidance Line thus helps runners to maintain a natural, efficient gait, especially over long distances.

Heel Clutching System

Heel Clutching System is an external Pebax mold that 'clutches' the entire rearfoot. Replacing the shoe's internal heel counter, it works like an exoskeleton, providing support while drastically reducing the potential for irritation. Besides making the shoe lighter, Heel Clutching System creates a more customised fit for different foot types.

    i bought these, used the first at the gym for a short 3k run, upon returning home i found some of the stitching had split on the left hand shoe, where the shiny red stuff is.

    not happy at all for such an expensive trainer considering my nike air sky raiders have more than 100k on them and they are only showing fairly little wear.

    so ive sent them back waiting for another pair to come, i hope these ones are actually ok.

    other than that they are nice to run in and are very comfy, but i think the QC dept needs a kick.

    Can anyone advise as to what the fit is like? Are they a narrow fit? I'm normally a size 9 and I'd say my feet are normal, but I was told at a running shop that you should buy the next size up as your feet expand when running. Any help would be appreciated.

    I LOVED MY MIZUNO WAVE CREATION 10S UNTIL I GOT THESE BAD BOYS. they just have the ultimate comfort. the mizunos have a cool feel but these feel light, fast and my feet are always feelin' good. i have tons and tons of shoes. 12 pairs of running shoes infact but these are the kings of the castle.
    i get loads of my shoes in america and these cost £79!! no joke. these are essential to someone needing great shoes!!

    i got the same amazement back in 91 when i coulnt understand why my feet never hurt wearing my sauconys that i was brothers with, i still have them!!

    BUY THEM, JUST BUY THEM, YOU WILL WANT TO KISS AND SLEEP WITH THEM

    I pronate severely and was sceptical at first at the levels of support this shoe would offer as it as marketed for supinators, neutral and over-pronators.

    I require 2150/Kayano/Brooks Trance level of support and so far these shoes have been very impressive. The fit is classic ASICS (I personally find the asymmetrical lacing system very secure), cushioning is second to none with a great forefoot feel and a very stable transition from heel strike to toe off thanks to the Guidance line.

    ASICS are on to a winner here. :)

    unlike nike, the rear of the asics bounces back straight away. in other air products, once air is compressed within a small space, it takes a while for it to reach its original position. With the gel its like it takes the pressure with no problem, and bounces back immidiatly ready for your next step

    Well built, very comfortable and more responsive than my Kayano 15's. As an overpronator i was sceptical at moving away from the Kayano but I have no regrets so far and am really enjoying running in the Kinsei 3. Top marks!
