• I.G.S. (Impact Guidance System)

  The Impact Guidance System (I.G.S.) is an ASICS design philosophy. It aims to make shoe components from rear to midfoot and forefoot to work together effectively to allow the body to perform in a natural manner. ASICS designers strive to compliment, not correct, how the legs and feet move.

• Discrete Sole

  Unique sole construction composed on dual density GEL which provides improved load distribution and cushioning.

• discrete eyestay lacing

  A new lacing development that uses indepently placed eyelets. This concept evens the lacing tension across the foot, creating a customized fit and enhanced upper comfort.

• 3M Reflectivity

  Special reflective material which enhances visibility in poor light. 3m Scotchlite is a registered trademark of the 3M Company.

• Rearfoot and Forefoot GEL

  Attenuates shock during impact and toe-off phases, and allows movement in multiple planes as the foot transitions through the gait cycle.

• X-40 ComforDry Sockliner

  Provides cushioning performance and anti-microbial properties for a cooler, drier, healthier environment.

• Removable Sockliner

  A sockliner which can be removed to accommodate a medical orthotic.

• AHAR (ASICS High Abrasion Resistant rubber)

  Tough material placed in critical areas of heavy contact on the shoe for exceptional durability.

• Heel Clutching System

  Heel Clutching System is an external Pebax mold that 'clutches' the entire rearfoot. Replacing the shoe's internal heel counter, it works like an exoskeleton, providing support while drastically reducing the potential for irritation. Besides making the shoe lighter, Heel Clutching System creates a more customised fit for different foot types.

• Propulsion Trusstic

  Plastic bridge under the arch which mimics the connective tissue in the foot by creating tension as the foot moves through each step.

• Propulsion Plate

  Plate in the sole which provides stability in the forefoot and offers flexibility for additional comfort.
