    I will explain. Diabetes can cause gange greeen in the feet and amputation for diabetes sufferers. Since the gel absrobs so much impact, the feet do not suffer extra stress because of inapropriate foot wear. If you do not know what diabetes suffers can go through, do not be so quick to judge a product that may actually help them. All they are doing is informing people. Get real folks and chill.

    Yes, I think this is a cheap way of trying to sell the product to a market by saying:

    "This shoe is suitable for Type 2 diabetes sufferers"

    I think it is an absolute disgrace that Asics have made such a braen comment on one of their products and it highlights how little thought goes into the marketing, they would say anything to make a sale even if it makes them look like a bunch of loonies (which they are by only targeting the group of people who have Type 2 instead of targeting ALL diabetes sufferers and customers who have other difficultys) truly shocking guys

    And guess what? I was about to buy the shoe but then I saw that stupid review!!!!

    Very disspapointing.

    Please explain how Gel-Cardio is ONLY suitable for type 2 diabetes sufferers - I have type 1 - does that make it not suitable for me????!!!! I cannot understand why this shoe is so special that diabetes even needs to be mentioned anyway - a good fitting shoe of any make/kind is suitable for Type 2 diabetes sufferers.
